10 Ways To Protect Your Google Adsense Account

You may be aware that at least 90% of bloggers are capitalizing their websites using Google Adsense. However, what we do not know is that many of these site owners are also getting their Google Adsense accounts terminated. Some, for cases of click frauds, and many others got their accounts terminated when they have done nothing wrong to deserve the harsh punishment. Considering the probable income you can get through Google Adsense, it is no wonder these innocents want so badly to revive their accounts.

It is that same consideration that led to the rise of Google Adsense click fraud. So, what exactly is click fraud and how does Google differentiate between a legitimate click and a fraudulent click? Click fraud is the act of clicking on ads for the purpose of increasing advertising revenue for the publisher. It is simply the same as paying out cash for false leads. Many people who engage in such activity might not be aware that the money that they are 'earning' for these fraudulent clicks do not come from Google, but from the advertisers themselves or even patrons of Adwords. Many advertisers and website owners are aware of this fraud and are sharing the same sentiment that this is the one big problem that Google Adsense is facing.

10 Ways To Protect Your Google Adsense Account:

  1. Never ever click on your own ads on your website or blog. Google will identify and categorize these clicks as fraud clicks.
  2. Never encourage your friends and family to click on the ads on your website or blog. Google will sniff those clicks and tag them as fraud clicks.
  3. Do not tell your family and friends about Adsense on your website. Chances are they may start clicking on them to help you make money without you knowing it.
  4. You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you.
  5. Sign up for a click tracking software, which will be able to show you the click out rate and details. This way, you can be the first to identify any abnormal ad clicking activity on your website and report your finding to Google Adsense before they discover it themselves.
  6. Honesty is the best policy. Be truthful and confess to Google about times when you might have clicked on your own ads, whether accidentally or intentionally. Or the times when you have done something that is against the Terms of Service that they are implementing. Be honest about anything that you may have done that is wrong. Confessing is way better than Google learning about it eventually. Confessing might save your Google Adsense account from being terminated.
  7. Read the Google Adsense Terms Of Service over and over again until you are extremely clear about what to do and what NOT TO DO.
  8. When in doubt, drop them an email. The support center is really helpful and efficient, they will reply your email within a couple of days.
  9. Never join any click exchange programs or use an automatic program to click on your ads. These will result in your account being terminated in no time.
  10. Finally, study your Adsense Reports regularly. If you notice a high Click Through Rate (CTR), start investigating because that might be due to some fraudulent activity that you are unaware of.
At the end of the day, we all want to make money from Google Adsense and the best way to do that is to build up the content of your blog and increase the amount of daily traffic to your blog. More traffic equals more people viewing your ads, and hypothetically - a high probability in having some of your ads clicked by interested parties.

In my next post, I will discuss about some of the ways that I have found to be pretty stupendous when it comes to attracting traffic to your blog.

Belated Merry Christmas

A very belated Merry Christmas to all!!! Apologies for the 'belated' greetings.

Just got back from Edinburgh after 4 fantabulous days of castle tour, shopping, and indulging in tons of champagne and chocolates. Most of all, had a scrumptious time digging in at all the yummy food (Mmmm.. I miss my 'Steak in a roll', 'Banana and Nutella Crepe', and 'Chocolate Waffles') at the Christmas Market and German Market.

Time for bed now. Will try and update some money making schemes tomorrow.
Ciao~~

Agloco - Earn your share of the Internet

How many times have you ever wished you were the one who created Google, Skype, or YouTube? I have... more than once! I kept thinking, why can't I be that smart or creative. In fact, I do question myself from time to time, if I had the brains to create all that, would I have the guts to see it through? Creativity and guts are not the only elements to a potentially successful business, what you also need is LUCK! The reason why the world is not filled with millionaires is because most people like living in their comfort zone. You wouldn't want to take unnecessary risks to jeopardize your current position, would you?

Since I have given up a very good job with great prospects to move to the UK with my hubby, I now have all the time in the world to learn the ropes to making your own money using the power of the Internet.

If you don't think that you have the right skill sets to be an Internet guru by creating giants like Google and YouTube, do not be disheartened because I am just like you. I have decided to leverage on the power of other creative juices to strike it rich.

There are indeed many ways to make money online, you get the typical MLM (which I do not endorse for moral reasons), online marketing, advertising, etc. Personally, I am very selective of what I choose simply because I was badly hurt during a short MLM (not the online version) stint couple of years back.

Anyway, we all know that in every business, carving out a niche and being the first to introduce the new product/technology/gadget is of utmost importance.

Big companies are making money off our every move on the Internet. Small companies are getting sold for hundreds of billions and we, the users that create these companies aren’t seeing a single cent. This is just not right.

Through my weeks of research, I came upon this very new company (currently still in Beta testing stage, which is perfect!) which wants to give me my fair share. It’s called AGLOCO (short for “A Global Community”), and they want to give us a piece of the money we generate every time we’re on the Internet. Sounds too good to be true? Yeah, that's what I thought too. But since there is ZERO risk involved, I signed up, and I’d like you to do the same. Firstly because you have nothing to lose and I don’t want you to miss out if it ultimately becomes the next Google. And secondly, I’m trying to help build their community, since they recognize my help and pay me extra for the people I refer. You can read more about the company from here.

How does this work? Once you sign up on their website, when available you will be able to download the Viewbar software, a free toolbar-sized application (half the size of a traditional Windows tool bar) that quietly sits on your desktop without ever hampering your online habits. That’s all you need to do! Just continue using the Internet as you used to… no need to change your habits!

Do you have several individuals using one computer? You can have different AGLOCO™ viewbars to fit the profile of each user.

Don’t want to see or use the Viewbar at any given time? Just minimize it and the Viewbar stops working!

There are different ways AGLOCO™ can make money for its Members:

  • Cash: You get cash by surfing the Internet while the Viewbar is running. AGLOCO™ ’s profits are distributed back to its Members. And you can also receive real-time discounts should you choose to purchase from AGLOCO™ ’s partners. They will never include gambling or adult entertainment sites as partners.
  • Shares: In addition to cash, AGLOCO™ will give out shares in the company to its Members. Eventually, AGLOCO™ plans to go public and will be traded on the London Stock Exchange AIM. You can start earning stock options by keeping Viewbar active while you surf. In addition, you will gain extra shares by referring active users to AGLOCO™ (they lose nothing).
The more people join AGLOCO™ , the more value the community can generate for itself. The company believes those that build the community deserve more: your own profits become larger the more people you refer. You can accumulate hours not only from your Internet activity but also from those who you refer, and their referrals too… Up to 5 levels underneath you! For example, if you refer 10 people and all of them refer 5 people each, you could make over 9000 shares a month*!

Remember, this is all free, you don’t lose anything, all you have to do is sign up, download the Viewbar (when it's ready) and that’s it. Build your network and refer friends, family and colleagues to AGLOCO™ and earn even more!

The guys behind this idea include several Stanford MBA’s and a few individuals who started AllAdvantage back in 1998, which gave over $100 million to its users before falling victim to the burst of the internet bubble. Today, the context is much more favorable: The sophistication of on-line commerce, the rapid emergence of communities, the wealth of advertising revenue sources, etc. Isn’t it time you got your share of the Internet?

Again, we’ve got nothing to lose for signing up and it could be a great opportunity. When you sign up, just make sure you use my reference ID: BBBK5867 so I can get credit as a community builder. Or click on this link. Thanks!

First crucial step to making money online

Before you start the process of trying to find money online, keep in mind that this is a journey that will take you to many different web sites. Some of these will work for you while others will not. Sometimes finding the right sites for you means that you must sign up for these sites to figure it out. At this point I think I have signed up for at least 20 sites. This means 20 emails to welcome to to their web site. At least 10 of these sites sent me another email asking me to confirm my email address. I joined two forums that send me a new update each time someone posts on a thread that I started. So far I have received at least 200 emails from those two sites. So far that is 230 emails.

What is my point? The first step in making money online is creating a new email address. Do not use your personal email address because your inbox will be so full of emails from these sites that it will be impossible to dig out the actual personal emails.

Another reason is that sometimes these sites sell your email address to other companies. This means that these companies will take your email address and spam you with every piece of information they can. If you are like me you already get enough offers to consolidate your credit or go to college for free. Why add to it?

Keeping a separate email address will keep your life clutter free and make it easier to find what you are looking for.

If you require a Gmail invite, no not hesitate to contact me.
